Its why he sent his Minister and Generals to Beg the Muslim Qataris, to send more money to Hamas; $30M cash a month.
Think about it, who does that?
After knowing the Hamas Charter and knowing Hamas have gone to war against Israel four times in the past, and Israeli laws banning any support to terrorist organizations like Hamas, he (Netanyahu) still went ahead, and delivered $30M cash a month to Hamas.
He obviously thought he could control Hamas, but he was wrong. Now, both sides (civilian) are suffering the consequences.
