Ah, Tel Aviv ! An ancient biblical name which coincides with the Hebrew title of a town in a 1902 Zionist propaganda novel written by the father of modern day political Zionism, Theodor Herzl.

Tel Aviv !! Home of the famous Red House built in the 1920s which in 1947 became the HQ of the Hagana, the main Zionist underground militia in Palestine:

"in this building, on a cold Wednesday afternoon, 10 March 1948, a group of eleven men, veteran Zionist leaders together with young Jewish officers, put the final touches to a plan for the ethnic cleansing of Palestine."
