The reality is that a very desperate measure is paying off strategically.
Israel has blown the covers off , all by itself. Being an organization set up and funded by shin bet, they had a pretty good idea how Israel would react to their attack on military barracks on the 7th. Israel took the bait, and led by murderous psychopaths have now managed to destroy any sympathy towards them world wide, stirred up the entire region against them and will probably not survive in the long term.
Using the Samson option is not a survival tactic, it is suicide.
