Mr Market hasn't realised just how good this development is for ENB. I think it puts ENB in front row running to gain the funding it has been seeking - it was in a bind, no committed customers, so no go-ahead of construction. Figures I read quoted the Centauri 1 power station as a $100m. project. That is a fraction of the mega-dollars that will be pouring into the Mid West infrastructure for development of the iron ore industry. It is still uncertain to me which areas may be set aside in the iron ore provice for conservation, following the WA EPA identifying high-value conservation zones. The potential customers may not have wanted to commit to power needs when this consideration has not yet been sorted out.
