I did have a thought which is could sbm re-negotiate the junk bonds given they are worth less given the downgrade? The note values when first issued are what sbm's debt is calculated to but if someone on sells say a 100 mil now junk bond from my understanding they might only get 60-80c in the dollar given the lower rating or am I completely on the wrong track?
