When the DAP prices started falling, RP prices took a while to follow, in fact the ridiculous scenario was that DAP and RP prices were nearly the same at one stage. The same will happen the other way. DAP is the driver from what I have seen, and that makes logical sense. Historically, RP prices have for a long time been totally manipulated by the Moroccan situation of subsidised production. Therefore the effects on RP price by other factors is a learning experience, but logically if the supply and demand is left to run its own course (as opposed to manipulation) then it makes sense that RP and DAP prices should be linked. My belief is that this will prove to be so. If I didn't have this belief I don't think I'd be invested in MAK.
