The current board keep selling their "hands on" experience. I don't really see how that adds much value to their positions on the board. CM doesn't consult for free as we have all seen.
Considering some of the concerns regarding corporate governance which have been raised by ERM, maybe people who are specialists in geology / oil and gas etc. are not the best people to be put in charge of a multi-million dollar company. Maybe we would be better off with people who are experts in corporate management.
Delays because of ERM?.... who cares? We haven't put a drill rod in the ground for a very long time. I'd gladly take a few delays to get an increase in professionalism and corporate governance.
