I think there are three main things that would lead to the share price rising significantly between now and the full-year accounts being announced:
- another large institution comes in and takes up a big stake (has anyone got the email address of Warren Buffett?)
- a large oil company commits to long-term contracts with NMS
- takeover rumours

Currently: the market is in turmoil, investors have the chance to earn 8% interest risk-free, and many investors/traders have been burned by extending/over extending themselves via margin loans and then seeing major share price drops, the US economy in recession. I doubt there will be many people buying presently, particularly into riskier growth stocks like NMS. I think the earliest we can expect confidence to return to the market and to share prices until the next reporting season.

We have to face the fact that the state of the economy and issues mentioned above will result in a delay to the growth of the share price and this means we must adjust our expectations accordingly.
