i think tallmantim's analysis is on the money, it all depends on what timeframe view you are looking at.

with regards to timing of announcements, this offer has been flagged since well b4 the agm, option holders have had ample notice to decide what to do , obviously the ultimate decision depends on current price and whether or not u are looking short or long term. timing of results is determined by labs and is out of managements hands, i think it is a bit of a stretch to suggest there is anything untowards going on.
seems to be a few conspiracy theorists surrounding this stock, i suggest they read the announcements more thoroughly, then there would be less confusion
