Hi Roosterman 2000,
I have been investing in Imp since the year 2000 and now quite a bit about the company. I like it very much.
I think the Bruce McLeod has been a great CEO who has not followed the common practice of many CEOs of struggling companies, who have a tendancy of plundering every last cent until the company is forced into liquidation.
Up until recently when he arranged the very favourable option arrangements for himself and the other directors, he has taken very little from the company. His only chink in his armour was selling out a substantial amount of his interest at $0.035 during a nice upsurge in the price some years back, which some might say then contributed to the downward spiral of the share price for many years.
I suppose though we have to accept that he is in it for the money like the rst of us, and when the time is right he will sell out too.
As for Geoff Lord well I dont know enough to comment on why he got involved. I wonder why he needed to gatecrash the party if as you say Bruce McLeod already has plans well under way with the gas drilling arrangement in the USA.
You say:
"Do your research and make your own minds up".
Can you tell us what research you have done to form such a positive outlook for the an expected rise in price, so you are not just seen as one of those dangerous pump and dump rampers?
You also also said:
"... don't be surprised if soon after the rights issue shares come into the market, that there may be some form of consolidation."
This is my biggest fear for IMP.
Have you ever been involved in such a consolidation for a low cap company? It is not pretty. Your $ investment takes a big nose dive. Pray it does not happen whilst you are holding any shares.
Yoy
