nice to read over a cup of tea, but I don't know why they would be debating this when it already has environmental approval from the very people mentioned in that article. I think this is a little bit of sensationalism to be honest and does not worry me at all. It doesn't mean I am right, but this is the least of my worries to be honest.
PS: There are also some factually incorrect statements in that article about community involvement and the are of the park in which much of the work is being done. As far as I know, tourists very rarely, if ever, set foot at this site. Happy to be proved wrong. I did read a blog one day where some guy actually drove past the site in 2007 on his way somewhere else. Maybe he is the "tourists" they speak of.
