I found these couple of words very interesting,

"Uranium producers only contributed 65 percent to last year’s demand, while the balance came from inventory sales and blended down uranium from decommissioned Russian warheads."

Now with the old warhead supplies running out fast, there will be an increasing short supply problem/available to the market, Which will lead to a pure supply and demand situations will lead inturn to an increase in the cost of U.

The figure of $100/pound is looking closer every day.
