Hi baggies, there's no such thing as absolutes in my experience.

In the absence of company-specific news, changes in market oulook will have the dominant effect on stock prices, big or small caps. When there's company-specific news, this will usually become the dominant factor. But how many times has there been a really bad day on the market that's simply swamped the effect of any company-specific news - it happens.

Speccy's dont live in a bubble isolated from world events.
