    USMC has also "stated an interest" in metal storm tech to the tune of x dollars.
    I don't know that there is a real threat coming from medusa - 66mm grenades against 40mm firestorm. The difference suggests to me that medusa is likely to be a battlefield weapon whereas firestorm is tailored to streetscapes, IMHO of course.
    The other thing is whether medusa uses any of metal storm's patents for its in-barrel firing system.
