That would be the system set up by the Founding Fathers after the Americans had defeated the British in the War of Independence.
These guys, having fought for and won their freedom, set up a system of government based on the American Constitution.
Obviously, they did not take into account the feelings of the degenerate progressives more than 220 years later, who have no concept of liberty or sacrifice.
