Pauline Hanson to play hardball with Malcolm Turnbull
A BRUISED Pauline Hanson will unleash a “shock” new message for Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull under moves that could derail the Government’s agenda – including childcare reforms – to show supporters she remains a political outsider.
As the Government prepares to push through billions of dollars in savings measures ahead of the May Budget, it is understood Senator Hanson will tell the Government it will now have to work harder to get her vote.
In the firing line is the Government’s childcare reforms that are paid for by family benefit tax cuts.
The Courier-Mail has been told that Senator Hanson received feedback at the West Australian election that could change how she votes on contentious legislation.
