Hanson-Young spent more than $3500 in two days. Two days!
Can you even imagine what the average punter thinks of that?
She went to the Great Australian Bight with her daughter, and she charged the taxpayer for the cost of the plane and the boat and the chauffeur driven car.
And they took selfies. And ate oysters. And spotted 98 whales. And posted it all to Facebook.
Senator Hanson-Young told local radio this morning that the trip was “work-related” because she wanted to “talk to people in the tourism industry.”
Does anyone believe this?
She said the waterways in question are under threat from “big oil.”
And taking her daughter along for a whale-watching cruise is going to help how?"
