She's the Greens' finance spokesman.
'Nuff said:
The Greens’ finance spokeswoman, Sarah Hanson-Young, has racked-up another big debt to the Finance Department and left it unpaid for more than 90 days.
The Australian last year revealed Senator Hanson-Young had to negotiate a rare payment plan for $15,186 she owed the department — and taxpayers — after blowing her staff travel budget by almost a third.
New documents obtained under Freedom of Information laws show Senator Hanson-Young had a debt of $20,460.76 in February, which she had left unpaid for more than 90 days. This debt was only paid, along with a separate overdue bill of $1570, after The Australian’s FOI application was lodged.
Imagine what the nation's finances would look if the Greens ever formed government.
