Thanks for the maps city 1866. Very interesting and demonstrates visually how a production hub could be developed around a set of infrastructure. Whether this would add any serious value remains to be seen (indeed are BMA / S52 sellers?). Of course if the price is right (and vendor financing available) why not transact.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an announcement along side of the quarterly activities report announcing another acquisition...... and then I wake up.

Just realized my estimated production number is probably too high and the margin of USD150 per ton is probably too low...... so net net probably in the ball park. Bring on the real numbers so I can stop speculating.

I was also reflecting that SMR received a dividend from SMC of USD440m and spent USD270m paying Mitsui for the other 20% and paid USD100m deferred purchase consideration to BHP leaving USD70m. And they have had 3 months of operations from 100% of SMC at the full production rate and at the high coal prices..... Seems like they are in a pretty good position.
