Just back from Caloundra, arrived at 9 to a beach full of people, my wife and I and grand daughter snorkelled around the rocks at corner of Kings beach, so many fish near rocks, big schools of whiting around near the feet of swimmers, must have counted a dozen flathead hidden in sand as well that made my mouth water, water was around 28 degrees, then off to Golden beach for pizza lunch, was lucky to snag a few slices out of 2 pizzas as my grand daughter is a eating machine, off home to beat the traffic as by 4.30pm the traffic coming back in just 2 lanes will be biblical and crawling, happy Australia day..
