You are indeed correct!
I was in discussion with my accountant yesterday about moving away from my Industry super fund to a fully smsf. However with such a modest balance the management costs out weigh the benefits...... according to the accountant!
With regard to my current Industry super fund I am able to access up to 80% of the balance to invest as I like in shares etc with a maximum of 20% in any one ASX 300 listed company, so up until yesterday I was unable to invest in AJX.
