Bodes well for big plantings, higher tonnage of grains and therefore more income for GNC that stores, transports, exports and markets it.
I also think current Coalition standing in the polls increases chances of them getting booted out of Govt next year. Labor and opposition Treasurer Chris Bowen are on the record as saying they would allow ADM takeover of GNC to occur if they are in Govt.
Also would discount the likelihood of CBH coming along and having a tilt at GNC before the next election.
