Re shorting.
On Thursday 48 million BHP shares were traded. Along with the volume spike, there was a corresponding a three- or four-fold increase in shorted shares.
So, of the 48,038,000 traded, 9,231,379 were shorts. That's 19% of turnover, or, 1 in every 5 shares is a short.
Most, no doubt, attributable to Barry, lol.
Not as bas as other stocks, like TEN Network, at 50%, taking the stock to its November 21 all-time-low.
