I'd like to add my voice to the thanks and best Christmas wishes to all you generous posters at the heart of this BHP thread - Monglo, Robbbbbbb, Barry the bear, Sally2412, Lapdog, wsxyz, wink.
I'm one of the silent majority who read a lot, but post little, mainly because I'm new to trading and am sucking up as much information as I can in these early days. And I've learnt so much from you guys about charts and stop losses and general TA. Not to mention enjoying the mostly good natured cameraderie which distinguishes this BHP thread - to my mind, the brains of Hot Copper.
So thank you - and a question. This is the first Christmas/New Year I've traded. Someone mentioned that often the low volumes through this period can provide some profitable volatility. Does it tend to be a time when good trades can be made, or should I just go to the beach and come back on 5 Jan?
