    Just a quick note to wish everyone a happy Christmas and successful New Year.

    In a way, given the events in the last 12 months, I'm glad it is coming to a close and hope that 2009 will mean a fresh start for the global economy.

    Every one of us learned something (maybe lots of things) during 2008 and my hope is that we will continue to do so in 2009... just on the upside, not the down.

    Best wishes to everyone for a safe and happy festive season.
