G'day Trader77
That involvement with Unwired was using a preWimax. Delays in certified Fixed and mobile Wimax prevented UNW to upgrade it's infrastructure among other things. True Wimax can deliver 2-4Gbs which is not too bad if you live in remote, rural or regional area and 1.5K away from a node. Austar is doing will in those areas .I remember a few months back John.K saying he would like to compete against AUN .(IF) Opel do buy AUN spectrum and (BIG MAYBE) Reeltime could supply content to Opel this may be Reeltimes best chance. I think TiVo box and Reeltime box will be similar (like many others) and Seven is putting some good money into Wimax in the last few weeks. My thoughts are for rural or regional areas where i see a need for VOD for obvious reasons.
