What are your reasons for that post ?

Thanks newdepths, I didn't know (or more likely forgot) the origin of Purim.

My research suggests that the "murderous" Israelites were never in Egypt in the numbers to make that story stick which means at best that the biblical story was a jazzed up version of what happened.

I suspect that a fair dollop of poetic licence also applied to other biblical stories.
