But today there will also be plenty of unhappy little vegemites.
AIM opened at 8.6c today, hit 9.1c and closed on its low for the day of ONLY 8.3c. There was turnover of nearly 34 million today, following yesterday's turnover of 37 million.
Now to me that looks like plenty of selling into the buying enthusiasm generated by AIM awakening from its slumber yesterday.
Let's see whether AIM remains true to past form and all those eager little vegemites buying yesterday also get eaten as they did today from 9.1c.
Let's not forget that AIM traded at 7.4c on 21st. March last year. So taking a 10 months' perspective, in a resources bull AIM has managed the grand gain of 0.9 cents.
Now that sure is some big reward for faithful investors -as distinct from nimble traders who hope to pick the highs for selling - like today - and the lows for buying.
