I work in big tech and in the employee tech space space.
I used to be invested in a number of ASX tech businesses (including LVT too), but have moved to mostly resources in the ASX. I have about 3/4 of my saving in NASDAQ tech. Hot copper, nor the ASX in general is a hotbed of tech chat.
Salesforce have bough Slack and a repositioning it at the moment for the employee engagement piece.
May dead is a little drastic, but intranets as a concept are dying. Ie a web portal of information. Systems of action is where the world is moving. And live tiles doesn't provide much action, the integrations are weak and the workflows are poor.
up until a few months ago, we was in a crazy tech boom cycle for 2 years and LVT has been sliding down that entire time. The past 2 years has been the perfect climate for LVTs value proposition and the share price has slide from around 50c to <8c. What does that tell you?
