.......If you lower pressure in one area then the water will want to flow into that lower pressure zone.

........this is why they have had many desorption events before, only to be cut short by engineering / pump issues.
"So when it flows it should be massive"
........if they can keep those pumps going at an above inflow rate, protect the de-watered area, and get the coals to an average pressure that triggers another desorption event, then we should be on a winner.
