Yeah at less than 60 degrees upwind with the extra waterline length and the deep keel the mono would be advantaged - - I know which one I would rather be on after they drop the anchor for the night or trying to cook a meall while sailing - pros and cons for both boats -i think a different result at 90 to 120 degrees to the wind !
