    Hi All

With pumping imminent, it’s worth looking at a distant cousin coal-seamer’s recent experience for a pointer to our near-term potential. Some of you hopefully own this stock.

Galilee Energy (GLL) on 14 June announced the start of test pumping on its kilometre-deep coals in the Galilee Basin near Longreach. Its SP was 16 cents. The Directors were bullish. Initial flows exceeded expectations; flow rates were ‘excellent’; they were ‘extremely confident’ of commercial gas flows. Fifteen days later GLL’s SP was 40 cents and its Directors had to field an ASX speeding ticket.

I don’t seek to draw comparisons between two different projects in different fields, but merely to illustrate how quickly things might move for Strike once the pumps crank up.

At that point it’s likely our SP starting point will be around that 16-cent mark. Wonder where it will be a fortnight later?

Hope we cop a speeding ticket!

    OOO
