Lithium extraction harms the soil and causes air contamination./ people of the world look to lithium as the god send from above because its not coal. the worlds leaders committed to a cleaner enviroment. lithium is a start/ buts not the be all to end all. they are looking at alternatives already. the lithium shareholders might only get a couple of years on the hogs back with dividends/ until the new next generation fuel comes along. agree or disagree. but dont call me stupid

Would the world be a better place if we ended all mining and all industrialization and let the population collapse (starve) to a level that could be supported by hunter-gatherer activities with stone tools?
