Good news for BCB: Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) has suspended operations at BHP Mitsubishi Alliance’s (BMA) Peak Downs coal mine after two trucking incidents. According to BHP's website this mine produced 29Mtpa or coking coal in FY2023. This should easily remove 1Mtpa of supply from the market.
