Sorry to hear that, seems your friend got you in at around its high for the last 10 years. Your friend must have done a good due diligence prior to tipping you in, many have been blinded by the gold contained in the universes largest high grade gold deposit just waiting to be dug up.
I would say it was the company probably talking about the advancement of hard rock mining along with many of their statements full of hopes and dreams!!
If you are putting money into shares like this you are a punter not an investor !
Good luck with your bet, it's still alive so it still has a chance I guess, if you have enough years left to wait.
