Certainly from a global macro perspective the Gold Bull Market has a long way to run.

The American's are trying to fix their trade imbalance but using brute force because they think they have the upper hand. It needs to happen because the political situation in the US as a result of decades of screwing over middle America has manifest as populism.

But they've created a very large rod for their back in terms of having partners agree to an accord which would see them agree to zero interest on treasuries which with inflation would whittle away to nothing. Foreign countries hold the cards because they can sell the sh!t load of US capital assets they hold generated as part of the 1971 catalyst.

Long story short, the approach to fix it is prone to all sorts of significant policy errors as we have seen already and because this is a populism political movement, they are expecting results not back-downs - he's in a very very tight corner. High probability for gold stocks benefiting and in particular ones with a ton of potential like this one because the bigger producers in this environment will look to acquire.
