Sandlion, believe it or not, I have never been to a pub socially or drank alcohol in my life. Seen enough of what damage alcohol can cause to people when abused.
As for AGL/Alinta, don't be surprised if that company will be involved in ESG when enough gas has been certified. Refer to AGK's (correct ASX quote for AGL) ann. on 17th Jan.08 where it was announced that AGK will build the gas pipeline for QGC, the Wallumbilla Gas Pipeline. AGK also announce last week that it intends to go greener big time. I also own AGK shares and getting badly injured there.
Imho, ESG s.p. will eventually move up as long as more gas reserve gets certified. As long as none of the management does the stupid margin lending with their shares like ABS boss, then we will be alright. Just longer now to make money in ESG after the train wreck by that rogue trader. But prepare for another sluggish trading day. All markets are down at the othwer end of the globe.
