Your view on TA is fundermentally wrong. Only 1 statement is correct, that is, it does have a self influential effect from traders using TA.

TA cannot predict future price. TT and Gurucrap are not TA traders. Follow the posts from madmacs, oilsleep, and kiwiboy instead.

I will try once more, if you still think you know maths and physics is useless, so be it.

TA is used primarily to identify the beginning of a price trend, end of the trend, and exit/reverse points. It works based on the following ASSUMTIONS:

1. Price discounts everything that drives buyers and sellers

2. Prices move in trends, and not random

3. Human nature is constant(fear/greed)

If you believe in all three assumptions, then you will believe in TA. TA is only useful in short term, the long term price will always be driven by the instrument's intrinsic value(FA). The shorter it takes the market price to move to its intrinsic value, the more efficient the market is.
