Pokerboy - I'm almost positive the shares were sitting at about 72c when the company fixed the placement price at 70c. Anyone who sold shares at 85c pre-empted the lower placement price - they didn't necessarily know about it! I guess the company might be more honest about that when the dust settles.
There were brokers out there advising their clients to dump all their shares after Banda because HDR was now all of a sudden worth 65c! Do reckon that helped the price drop a little?
I passed on the info as soon as I got it, just in case anyone wanted to use it to their advantage (even though I despise the short-term traders in this stock). The shares spiked to 76c on Friday. Did you sell to buy back in at 70c? If not, why not?
