This area seems to be really heating up with competition. Nest just released their security system in the US last month, which now makes Scout's integration somewhat second-class. However, I see abode as the real competition. They seem to have more reliable hardware and a more user-friendly interface. Scout and abode both have product offerings in the DIY security system space - making them direct competitors. I think Scout's decision to list was a smart one, hopefully it can give them the kickstart they need to progress at a faster rate than abode; which is a private company.

I was just wondering, do you guys think Scout has a clear competitive advantage in one area that makes them different to the competition? A competitive moat as such?
