GDO did very well to acquire Rand for $250M just on the uranium alone. When you consider that PEN has a fully diluted market cap of around $200M, and their resource is one third the size, it is not hard to see that value has been added to this company on the U front.
Then you have the gold, which is an outstanding prospect in it's own right.
Sure, the EV of GDO has risen a fair bit because of the debt it is now carrying, but the underlying value in GDO has risen by even more in my opinion.
Not sure where the retrace might come to a halt, but I've been thinking since it broke 38cents that it needed to come and retest that price at some point. Plus there is a gap there as well.
Fundamentally though, GDO has never looked better in my opinion. Still following it closely. I'm torn between this one and a copper play in Australia that commences production in 7 months. I'm not a fan of diversification so it will be one or the other, but I do rate GDO quite highly nevertheless.
