Yes, if they trade at a PE of 21, they would be very happy with the current offer and, I guess, ready to increase their offer.
Applying this 21 PE to the expected 7.5c per share, then the valuation becomes a more reasonable $1.575.
But I don't hold my breadth. Aegis is a very good company, with Vincent Bollore at the register (20%), and Harold's ego must feel very good to be associated with him - And if you combine a happy ego with a good job, that should make the Mitchell family a very happy one, resulting in MCU likely to accept the offer.
In this case, not sure what is required to trigger a counter offer ?
