Trump has clearly spent too much time soaking in the worshipping, adoration of his base that he has lost all of his inhibitions regarding talking about how he really feels.
Trump will lose the election because he is not even trying to win over independent voters anymore.
Harris becoming the nominee will reverse any gains he made in winning the Black vote & the more he attacks her based on her race the more he will lose support from other non Caucasian voters.
Trump chosing a MAGA clone as VP has also lost him any chance of restraining himself. At least last time he had Pence to provide an alternative view or a sense to the electorate that someone else could rein him in.
