    Since its establishment some states have chosen to privatise power plants: first Vic in 1995 and 1997, then SA in 1999, and NSW in 2008.
    Currently,     Vic and SA networks are 100% privately owned, while Tas, WA, NT, and Qld electricity networks are 100% government-owned
