Quite a few influential people have jumped the leftwing ship over the last 3 years. Not because they are a fan of DT but because they believe the left has lost the plot and is driving the US (and the western world) into WW3 and disagree with the woke clownshow thats been put on.
Trump wont change many minds as he is too polarised and dumb but the people that vocally endorsed him could make massive inpact. For some reason the people these people have been relentlessly attacked by the corporate media.
I agree with your post though and a lot of people are forced to vote for the lesser of 2 evils.
