That's a stock market or stock, bubble mania chart is it not. Can currencies be compared to it ?

Do currencies behave in like manner ?

What if Gold becomes the Reserve currency to back Fiat issuance ?

What if Gold is part of a " basket of currencies " that make up the reserve ?

In the capitulation phase, what will be recognised as the new reserve currency ? ( if not gold )

In the greed / delusion phase, ( gold at US $ 2500 + oz )can the public afford the physical ?

Even if the public shows an interest, how much discretionary savings / borrowings , will be allocated to gold via ETF`s / Gold stocks etc ?

Does the chart have any relevance to Gold at all ? This may be true if Gold is confiscated after elevated premiums have been paid and the new reserve currency is based on worthless promises ( aka USD ).

Not sure if we are comparing apples with apples folks.
