"Like any share, it is logical to sell if you think it is going lower and buy back in due course"

I'm certainly not going to get into a debate about investing strategies Monty, but I don't see the point in taking a loss when I think they will recover and go beyond my purchase price. Selling if you think they are going lower is fine if you are in profit. I have had more than my fair share of losses but the ones I've sold I have been convinced that they won't recover. As you say.
