Apart from a few short needed sell moments, am long term buyer and holder of AMP shares, even longer if include personal insurance.
AMP's real challenge IMHO is NOT to make smart decisions, rather to AVOID mistakes.
Managers who pursue smart decisions seem infected with the short term view illness, not the long term gain outlook.
The more money you need invest, the more difficult "smart decisions" become, the more you can lose quickly.
