Hartleys in West Australian today recommended cvn as a buy on the basis of being undervalued with a price range valuation of 23c to 42c based on current and future exploration. Perhaps explains the buying today.
Maybe Hartleys want to push the price up ahead of a share issue. I assume, as cvn's main backer, Hartleys would participate in any share issue - that's the cynical view.
More likely, a share issue will favour 'sophisticated' investors, which will help limit a price fall.
