Hartleys pick MINCOR as top Junior

HARTLEYS' equity research team has pinpointed Mincor Resources and Independence Gold as the standout buys in Australia's junior nickel sector.

The broker valued Mincor at 46 cents and Independence at 47 cents compared with their trading levels of 28 cents and 34 cents, respectively.

Jubilee Mines was rated an "accumulate" at $1.66 a share, while Dalrymple Resources was a "hold" at $1.50 a share and explorer Western Areas a "speculative buy" at 16 cents.

The Hartleys report was compiled on the belief that the sector would be the one to follow given the finely poised supply-demand balance and the anticipated increase in nickel demand on the back of a global recovery in consumption.
